If you do one thing for Xmas, then do this ..a great idea to a wonderful program that needs your support. SPREAD THE WORD.
Sorry just had to expand on this interesting idea from Negroponte, although as some others have suggested I can see that it probably has come out of frustration and a lack of success from the original country wide mega production scale. BUT maybe this might kickstart the project – it will definitely be on my list and hopefully ACS-Egham might back the scheme to some extent, could be interesting at least for students to try out a different operating system and also do some good?
